Falling High School Girl and Irresponsible Teacher

In a moment of despair, high-achieving high school student Mikoto Ochiai (Akari Takaishi) contemplates suicide after a failed love confession. However, her life takes an unexpected turn when she finds that she’s not alone on the school’s rooftop. As she explains her situation to physics teacher Jin Haiba (Ryo Hashimoto), he offers an unconventional proposition: enter a romantic relationship with him before deciding her fate. Although most students see Jin as a loser due to his gambling addiction and lack of direction in life, Mikoto’s perception of him changes as she spends more time with him. In the midst of their unconventional relationship, both Mikoto and Jin discover that sometimes the most profound changes come from the most unexpected places.
