When teen fashion model Natsume Mochizuki’s (Nana Komatsu) family moves to her father’s hometown to take over her ailing grandfather’s inn, she’s is forced to abandon her thriving career in Tokyo. She struggles to adapt to her new home, finding it difficult to connect with the locals due to her striking looks and urban background. When she meets Koichiro “Kou” Hasegawa (Masaki Suda), the enigmatic heir of a wealthy and influential family of Shinto priests, things seem to look up for Natsume as they begin a passionate romance. However, their momentary happiness is shattered during a ritual festival after a traumatic assault leaves them both deeply scarred, resulting in Natsume ending the relationship and Kou spiraling into a life of delinquency. As they grapple with their pain, can these two broken souls find peace?
